'Capitalisn't': The faulty assumptions behind our market and how to fix it
Dr Eve Poole from 'Host 2015'
Last month Oxfam researchers revealed that the worlds richest 1% hold more wealth than the rest of the world combined.
Eve Poole is a Business School Lecturer and Theologian. Her work is a kind of alchemic blend of the best ideas from economics, business ethics, theology and leadership and management studies.
In this CHOW session we will watch a talk delivered by Eve during one of her trips to Jersey last year and discuss its ideas and implications as a community. Eve's Poole’s latest book, ‘Capitalism's Toxic Assumptions’ describes a marketplace that is being held back by design assumptions that are well past their sell-by date. But how best to tackle such monumental reform?
This talk is about how the Christian community could drive the necessary change, through elegant and inspired strategic nudges.
