Simon says about this talk: "In thinking about this conference I reviewed my log of the last seventy or so talks I have delivered – about 25 of them to business audiences and the rest to church and para-church audiences. Two things struck me. One was recalling a comment by a friend after a business talk that "that was the same talk you did at church, without the verses, wasn't it?". The other was a reflection on the way people in the business environment are responding differently to the material nowadays.

In today's session I will deliver a "talk-within-a-talk", which is an excerpt from a recent conference keynote, which has been delivered, to audiences of Human Resources Managers and also business owners, several times over the past few years.

Then we will "go meta" and have a discussion around the surprising way this material has been received and what this might lead us to consider…
