Here's Simon's (10 min) summary of sprirtual practices down through the 20 centuries of Christian history.

Whether you say the Daily Office, read Every Day With Jesus, have a Quiet Time, use a Breviary or pray the Hours, many Christians throughout the centuries have found it important to mark the day with specific times of prayer and reflection.

At CHOW on 4 September Simon Nash will facilitate a discussion on the varieties of daily spiritual practice. This is very much a "bring your own" session, so please come prepared to talk about what practices you use every day, or those you have found helpful at times in the past.
