Specialist in capitalism and theology, and in leadership and ethics, with degrees from Durham, Edinburgh and Cambridge.  Author of several books, including Capitalism's Toxic Assumptions (2015) and Leadersmithing (2017). Associate Research Fellow of the William Temple Foundation and the St Paul's Institute; Management Board of Theos; chairs Faith in Business at Ridley Hall, Cambridge and Board of Governors at Gordonstoun; Adjunct Faculty at Ashridge Business School.
